CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program designed to challenge personal boundaries, to develop physical and mental endurance, and to promote overall health. Workouts are designed to include warm ups, opportunity to work on improving range of motion or mobility, developing strength, all before you get to your conditioning. It’s an inclusive program that focuses on the body as a whole, not just individual pieces.
At CrossFit LionHeart we want to change your life. Owned by a State College native, a Kinesiology graduate, a former Penn State wrestler, and a jack of all trades, we’ve developed the best coaching staff in Central PA. A mix of students and professionals, some of our members are looking to competitively move on to the next stage of their athletic career while some others might be looking to competitively play with their kids and not feel like a mess afterwards.
Think we’re made up of just students and don’t take training seriously? Think again. We’re committed to bettering our athletes big or small. We offer group and individualized programming to adapt to any individual needs. Your goal is our goal and we won’t settle until you succeed. We provide the most supportive, invigorating fitness experience in Happy Valley. Our members become friends and teammates, willing to share every last lift and every step of that last mile.
Penn State students, military and group discounted rates are available. All members also get free access to our two other facilities: LionHeart and the North Club (1510 Martin Street, State College, PA).
